Early in the morning on August 3rd in the poor neighborhood of Cagliari, eleven-year-old Cate wakes up to the screams of her neighbor. Cate wants to run away from her unhappy home life. The only person she cares about in her surrounding vicinity is her neighbor Gigi. And it turns out that today Gigi's life is threatened as Cate's brother is determined to kill him. Cate tells her best friend Luna that her beloved is in danger. After spending the day together, the girls find themselves confronted with a mysterious woman who apparently can see into people's futures.
